My goodness I pretty much died on this site! I lost power from Sandy and never logged back on even when I got power back. Anyway I got a table super last minute at Anime Boston! I had to bring a HUGE suitcase to Florida with me filled with art supplies to finish stuff up! I'll only be home for 2 days before the convention whew! I'm having a fun time visiting my Grandpa though and making stuff . If you go to Anime Boston please look for me! I'm table 25! I have three honorable mentions in the Yokai Art Contest display thing too^ ^

Edit: I found it! It was the Usambara bush viper (Atheris Ceratophora). So the snake hunt is closed. Thanks for helping me look . The snake has several color and pattern variations which explains why I couldn't remember. The zoo card I had had similar colors and mostly the blue eyed snakes. Most likely they took a lot of pictures of the same snakes lol.

I'm trying to figure out what my favorite type of snake is called. I used to have a zoo card with information on it but I lost it and can't remember the snake's name. Now I can't find it anywhere. I wanted to reference it for my comic.

It has bright blue eyes with a fringe over them. It is a golden tan color, I can't remember if it has markings or not. I believe it is a type of viper based on its head shape. It is venomous and not native to the Americas. It's also not common, hence why it's hard to find!

Commission can be anything you want from a personalized plushie, sculpture, painting, drawing, digital art, mixed media, realistic, cartoon, set of chibis etc. I do pretty much anything. (No large dolls however due to expenses).

I love you so much and I miss you. My mind can't fathom the fact that you're gone, that I'll never see you again. I want so bad to hug you, to tell you I love you, to apologize for going so long without talking to you. It feels like I could just run down the street and you'd be there, just waiting for me. It feels like it's not to late. We've just been apart from each other that's all. Even though I saw your urn I still expect, still hope that you'd turn up in my yard. I love you so much and I'm so sorry. I would believe any excuse you'd give me if you appeared again. I couldn't even be mad if you popped up and told me it was all a hoax. Actually, I wish that more than anything. I watched the Odyssey today. How I wish that I could go to the underworld like in Greek mythology and bring you back. If that were the case I'd brave any dangers. Walk for years and fight off horrifying monsters. I'm sure I'd be missing a limb or two before I ever reached you, but you could bet anything and your crazy hair dos that I'd never give up. I must sound like a broken record. I have to try so hard not to post again and again how much I miss you, not to tell everyone around every moment that I love you. Our friendship meant so much to me. I miss going over your house, chatting online late into the night, all our nonsense and gags, and the deeper conversations. I want to run to you and say let's never be apart again. I want to talk with you about our dreams and future, to laugh and share those memories with you. I want you to have that future Shu. You died to young. There are moments that I wish it was me instead. Rest in peace my good friend. You are an amazing person and I look up to you. I wish I could've told you all the ways I love you before you left. Your departure woke me up to so many things. I can't go in the past and fix everything, I can only hope to learn to cherish those around me in the future, and not get absorbed in my own world and problems again. You taught me so much Shu, and we shared so many irreplaceable memories. So Shu, heres to you my fuzzy blue goth! I love and miss you so much. You'll always be in my heart and I look forward to the day when I can see you again!

I figured I should change my journal at least once a semester xD

I took a break from taking max credits this semester so I actually have free time to do my own art for once. I should actually post stuff on here as I'm always making things lol.

Things I'm excited about:

My Nightingale doll is almost finished! The clay I needed finally came in. I have to make her feet, sew her dress, and paint her eyes (she has three :3) and she's done! wooooo. Okay, still a lot, but the hardest parts are out of the way

I'm going to Anime Boston for the first time. Every other time I was supposed to go it fell apart, mostly due to it being on Easter weekend. I'm cosplaying as Ai Enma from Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl). I'm making the costume from scratch so we'll see how that goes lol. I can't wait until my red contacts come in!!!!!!

Epica's new cd is coming out March 13th! With so many bands changing their sound I'm really happy that they stayed true to theirs. The previews sound epic!

Annnd in old news Jurassic Park 4 is eventually coming out lol. I've been drawing/sculpting dinosaurs a lot lately, you could say I'm excited :3

First year of college is over! Woot!


I got a job as an artist in residence for the Peabody Historical Society this summer. So I'll be doing a lot of painting. They have Victorian houses, sheep, llamas and emus. I'm quite excited I'm also working on an abnormal mermaid series after watching Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Good movie, go see it! Once the internet is fixed on my computer I'll upload some of my work from the semester. I have a lot of messages to go through since I haven't had internet in a while.

Unfortunately I got a major virus twice losing three weeks of work for both my comic class and S-OCT audition. Sometimes it stinks being a digital artist. So with all the make up work I didn't get to audition after all which I'm pretty bummed about. It's always worse when you're almost done haha. Oh well, what's done is done I suppose. I have animation next semester which I'm guessing will take up as much time as my comic class did. For other art classes I'll have realist painting, illustration, and perspectives in anatomy Oo That considered I'll probably wait till spring when I have a lighter load before joining another OCT.......just in case something like this happens again.
